A contemporary dance piece exploring how we communicate
‘Talk2Me’ explores the evolving nature of human communication, from timeless one to one interaction to the panoply of modes and motivations for communicating today.
Local choreographers and Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) graduates Alison Plevey and Larissa Willson, in collaboration with 16 young dancers from Bathurst, Cowra, Orange, Blayney and Young have drawn on personal experiences of communication, embracing the intimate and the public duality of communicating today.
Having never had any formal dance training, Rebekah took on this production to help further her physical vocabulary, and challenge herself amongst trained dancers.
Performed at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre.
